Impact Statement

Agency solution · active

Europa Clipper launched on October 14, 2024 and is the first mission designed to study in detail an ocean world beyond Earth. It will travel 1.8 billion miles to reach Jupiter in April 2030, orbit the planet and fly past Europa 49 times to find out whether the moon's hidden ocean has conditions suitable for life.
