Impact Statement

Agency solution · active

JAXA's IBUKI GW launched on June 29, 2025 on H-IIA No. 50. Its TANSO-3 instrument measures the greenhouse gases carbon dioxide and methane, plus nitrogen dioxide, while AMSR3 observes the water cycle, putting greenhouse-gas and water-cycle monitoring on one satellite.
